The 1000 Voices Project is a youth-led campaign by 15 young Indigenous Australians.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have lived on this land for more than 40,000 years, but are not recognised in the Australian Constitution. The Australian constitution is a document created when it was first federated. The Constitution also gives the government the power to discriminate based on race.
The 1000 Voices Project calls on all Australians to join the recognition conversation by posting a video, photo or post to our Facebook page acknowledging an Indigenous Australian you think needs to be recognised!
Please 'like', 'share' and 'post'.
